NTL Screening
Frankenstein
The smash-hit production, screening October 30 at The Human Race Theatre Company.
- Oct 30 2026
- 2 hours 9 minutes, no intermission
Childlike in his innocence, grotesque in form.
Directed by Academy Award® winner Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire), this Frankenstein screening features Benedict Cumberbatch (Hamlet, BBC’s Sherlock) and Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary, Trainspotting).
Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the increasingly desperate and vengeful Creature determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal.
Scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic tale.
Captured live on stage in 2011, this sold-out production became an international sensation, experienced by almost half a million people in cinemas around the world.
The Times, five stars“A hell of a production”
Time Out, four stars“A Monster Hit”
Daily Telegraph, four stars“The most viscerally exciting and stunning show in town”
