Elizabeth Proctor & Voices
Caitlin McWethy (Elizabeth Proctor & Voices) is a Cincinnati-based actor and director with over 15 years on stage and screen. She’s deeply honored to be starring in the world premiere of long-time friend and collaborator Maggie Lou Rader’s Salem: Blood to Drink, having previously starred in staged readings of Maggie’s work at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Caitlin is also excited to return to the Human Race Theatre Company, where she previously appeared in the 2017 world premiere of Eric Ulloa’s 26 Pebbles. Recent credits include Marianne in Constellations at Know Theatre of Cincinnati, where she also directed the world premiere of Derek Snow’s The Ravenside Occurrence. This August, she heads to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with two shows: Eoin Carney’s The Last Days of Trump and The Man Who Said Too Much.

Bryana Bentley (Sarah Good & Voices) is so excited to be back on stage with Human Race Theatre. Her last performance here was in 2023’s season show titled Angry, Raucous, and Shamelessly Gorgeous. Bryana has also appeared in Calendar Girls at Derby Dinner Theatre, and Jaja’s African Hair Braiding at The Contemporary Theatre in Ohio in Columbus. She is looking forward to being a part of another wonderful season.

Burgess Byrd (Bridget Bishop & Voices) Burgess is delighted to be back at Human Race Theatre. Previously seen in Barbeque (Liili-Anne); Gloria: A Life (Florence Kennedy). A Cincinnati-based actress, she has worked with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, recently seen in Emma (Miss Bates); Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati; Cincinnati Playhouse in The Park; Falcon Theatre; Know Theatre of Cincinnati, The Carnegie, among others. Annie Fitzpatrick (Ann Foster & Voices) has worked regionally at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Know Theatre, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, American Stage Theatre Company, Geva Theatre, Florida Stage, Florida Studio Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, and the Reparatory Theatre of St Louis.

Gavin Hoffman (George Burroughs & Voices) based out of Portland, Oregon, but has lived and worked all over the country. He has worked Off-Broadway at Red Bull Theatre, and regionally at DCPA (Denver), The Shakespeare Theatre (Washington D.C.), Portland Center Stage, Artists’ Rep. (Portland, OR), Book-It (Seattle), PCPA (Santa Maria, CA), Tulane Summer Shakespeare Festival (New Orleans), Princeton Rep. (Princeton, NJ), and others.

Heather Wilson-Bowlby Director
Heather has a BA in Theatre Arts from Catawba College and an MFA in Directing from the University of Memphis. Heather was the Artistic Director of The Old Courthouse Theatre from 1997-2007. Heather is an adjunct professor at Catawba College and a freelance director, with Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B and Seasonal Shorts at The Human Race Theatre Company. Heather lives in Albemarle, NC with her husband Jon, and their beloved pets: Isabelle, Salem, Oscar, Fred and Stazi.
Gabby S. Trice Scenic Design
Gabby recently completed her MFA in Set Design at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and is thrilled to jump into this new work with such a fabulous team! She previously worked as the Associate Designer to Charlie Calvert on both Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy and Camelot at HRTC. Prior notable projects include designing and charging several murals at the Georgia Aquarium and designing at theaters surrounding Atlanta including: Synchronicity Theatre, The Legacy Theater, The Essential Theater Festival, Stagedoor Theater and more. Other theaters in which she has designed include: The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, PA Shakespeare Festival, The Know Theatre and The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. Kelsey Gallagher Lighting Design
Kelsey is a lighting designer originally from Overland Park, Kansas. In her art, she values communication and collaboration most of all and has worked with theatre artists, visual artists, digital artists, animators, musicians, and dancers. Her previous work with The Human Race Theatre includes Hay Fever, Seasonal Shorts and The Comeuppance. She is currently the Exhibit Lighting Designer for The National Museum of the United States Air Force.

Sarah Gomes^ Properties Design
Sarah has worked both on stage and off in Dayton and surrounding areas for over 20 years. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Dayton and a Drama Diploma from The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Sarah’s areas of specialty in props include puppets, paper goods, and historical artifacts. In addition to working as Properties Designer at The Human Race Theatre Company since 2021, she has worked with Zoot Theatre Co, The Rising Phoenix Theatre Co, Sinclair Community College, University of Dayton, Central State University, Dayton Theatre Guild, The Dayton Playhouse, and Town Hall Theatre. Sarah is proud to be part of the vibrant arts community that Dayton has to offer.
Gina Cerimele-Mechley Fight & Intimacy Director
Gina is one of the few female Fight Directors in the country with the Society of American Fight Directors and is the resident Intimacy Director for The Cincinnati Opera and Cincinnati Ballet. Regional credits include: Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Opera Theatre St. Louis, Denver Center Theatre Company, Human Race Theatre, Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, and Nin-tendo Motion Capture Studios. Her work as an Intimacy Director has often been seen at The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and several high schools in the area. The respect for intimacy needs to begin early which is why she is seriously proud of the work she does for the high school programs. “It is just a kiss” is not a tolerable comment especially when it is a student’s FIRST kiss. Gina focuses much of her time on her now nationally recognized private acting studio and her theatre company, Cincinnati Actor’s Studio & Academy. Gina has been awarded The United States of America Distinguished Teacher Award, was the first recipient of the Cincinnati Arts Association Arts Educator Award, and was nominated for the “Excellence in Theatre Education Award” presented by The Tony Awards. She was just dubbed a knight by the order of The Knights of Madoc, in honor of her “work in the art of stage combat and in recognition of her fine character and enduring good will.”

Maggie Lou Rader writes epic stories about epic women is a national award-winning playwright whose work has been seen from coast to coast including on multiple Tony Award winning stages with her work being developed with Urban Stages in New York, DePaul University, Skeleton Rep, and Utah Shakespeare Festival and produced at Know Theatre of Cincinnati, Eclectic Full Contact Theatre in Chicago, Stages in Houston, and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park where she was a Resident Artist from 2024-2026. You can see her O’Neill semi-finalist play, THE CHURCH OF BROKEN THINGS at the James Madison University New Works Lab in August and her farce, THE BEST LITTLE CAT HOUSE IN SCAB HOLLER is in the Made in Cincy New Play Festival at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park this October.
